Characteristics: Sapphire Sunset hens are a cream legbar hybrid and are popular for their egg colour - 90% lay blue and the others can be green, white, cream, or brown. They are happy in large run or free range and are good layers. Sex can be determined on hatching. Males are pale or mousy brown. Females are darker with more distinctive stripes.
